Year 13 student Laiken shares the amazing news that she has been selected as a Youth Ambassador for The Mason Foundation one of only two roles awarded across the entire North West! But that's not all... Since filming this, we're pleased to share that Laiken has also been offered a full place on the J.P. Morgan Technology Degree Apprenticeship Rosie Whitehead, Head of Operations and Engagement at The Mason Foundation said: "Laiken's thoughtful approach to youth engagement, particularly her insights on utilising social media effectively and reaching underrepresented communities, aligns perfectly with our mission. Our Year 12 Computer Science students recently took part in the UK CanSat regional launch event, where they applied months of hard work designing, building, and launching their own satellite prototypes This exciting project, organised by the ESA - European Space Agency and STEM Learning, challenged students to combine skills in software development, electronics, engineering, and teamwork.
