As we approach the end of the year, here’s our round up of the latest creative and digital sector news from across the Liverpool City region, highlighting the exciting opportunities that students can get involved in over the coming years. The city region continues to develop and thrive, bringing stacks of creative opportunities to young people.
On Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, we proudly hosted our first Scholars Celebration Evening, bringing together families, staff and students to recognise the outstanding achievements of our Scholars from both Ignite and Year 10. The event marked a significant moment for our growing Scholars Programme, celebrating the dedication, curiosity and ambition our young people demonstrate every day.

At The Studio, students experience a unique education designed to develop creative, digital and technical talent for future careers in digital technology, engineering and creative sectors.
Working closely with outstanding industry partners, our students take part in real projects with real clients, gaining experience that sets them apart in competitive professional fields.

At The Studio School, we believe that learning doesn’t stop when the lesson ends. Our new enrichment sessions, running every Monday, give students from all year groups the chance to explore something completely new, develop new skills, and discover fresh passions beyond the classroom.

This National T-Level week, we are celebrating the fantastic work produced by our students who are part of the two T-Level courses we offer - Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing and Digital Software Development.
Meet Robert, one of our focused Year 13 students completing the T-Level in Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control. Robert recently finished an intensive six-week industry placement at Beverston, a high-tech aerospace manufacturing plant, proving the value of hands-on, real-world experience.

This summer, our T-Level students truly went above and beyond, immersing themselves in high-impact industry placements that brought their classroom learning to life. These placements are a cornerstone of the T-Level qualification, offering students invaluable insight into their future careers by allowing them to work alongside professionals and contribute to real-world projects.
Students have been for work experience placements across Creative, Technology, Engineering and Social Science sectors.
Classics teacher, Lauren, wins Chris Pilcher Up and Coming Teacher 2025. She received the award at the Classics For All Awards 2025 on Friday, June 27th, at the Leeds Royal Armouries.

Computer Science student Laiken celebrated receiving a full offer for a degree apprenticeship at J.P. Morgan, Laiken has also been given role as youth ambassador at the Mason Foundation one of 2 roles given in the whole of the North West after impressing the team with her Youth Engagement Strategy.
